God's Grace Changes Our World

A look at grace and its impact on us, our churches, and our world

God’s Grace changes everything. Grace is a wonderfully broad concept that encompasses Love, Patience, Forgiveness, Compassion and so much more. When we are deeply touched by God’s Grace, we have a wellspring within us that transforms our relationships. The church needs to be a Community of Grace. Our lives ought to demonstrate Grace. Our neighbors and towns can be transformed when that Grace overflows from the wellspring of Grace within us.

Ministering in Our Samaria

Ministering to those who are kindred in culture but reject our beliefs

Samaritans shared a common heritage with the Jewish people. Their roots were in Judaism. Their laws and cultural norms grew out of Judaism. But they rejected the religious claims of the Jews. That perfectly describes our Canadian Context and we can learn from Jesus how to relate to Our Samaria. Jesus did not argue about their religious errors. Jesus used Samaritans as examples to shame the hypocrisy of his people. Jesus went out of his way to engage with them. Jesus had a perspective and strategy we can learn from.
